Bishop Ward High School
Office of Admissions
708 N. 18th Street
Kansas City, KS 66102
Phone: (913) 229-3812
email: admissions@wardhigh.orgAfter your application has been submitted, Bishop Ward will request student records from their current school if you have not already provided it. These records will include: grades, discipline records, and attendance records.
The Admission Committee will review the studentβs records and make a recommendation for admission.
At this point, you will receive communication whether or not your student was approved for admission. If your student was approved for admission, they will then meet with our team of counselors to choose and enroll in classes.
Parents will receive an email to create a Facts Family Portal Account. This is where you will complete our Enrollment Agreement and apply for Financial Aid.
After this has been filled out, the Business Office will review the financial information provided and will send a letter to the family outlining their tuition rate and financial aid for which they qualify.
Once all remaining paperwork and the student's schedule is finalized, your new Cyclone may start attending class at Bishop Ward High School!
If at any point during the Transfer Application process you and your family have questions or concerns, please reach out to Sonya Sanchez at admissions@wardhigh.org or call (913) 229-3812. She can walk you through your application, talk with you about financial aid options, and schedule you a tour through the building!
