BISHOP WARD CROSS COUNTRY

Welcome to Bishop Ward's Cross Country page! Cross Country is a sport here at Bishop Ward where both Girl's and Boy's can participate. Cross Country is a great fall sport option for students to get in shape and also start conditioning for winter and spring sports!

If you are interested in joining the Cross Country team, please reach out to Head Coach Lally with her contact information listed down below.

We have great athletes each year and hope you will support us as we run these races together as Cyclones!

Next Up: Thursday, September 11th @ 3:45PM at Bishop Miege High School

MEET OUR COACHES!

Head Coach: Carrie Lally

Coach Kaifes Lally, Bishop Ward Class of 1981, returns with great enthusiasm to serve as the Cross Country, Girls Basketball, and Track & Field Throws Coach. She brings a wealth of coaching experience at both the collegiate and high school levels, along with a passion for helping athletes succeed. Her coaching philosophy focuses on mastering fundamentals, building strength, and developing mental toughness so that student-athletes grow in both skill and confidence. A proud alumna, Coach Lally is excited to continue giving back to the Bishop Ward community and guiding Cyclones to excellence on and off the field.

Assistant Coach: James Chapman

Coach Chapmen spent most of his high school cross country career getting dusted by future D1 athletes, but he persevered and, in college, did what every self-respecting runner with an Achilles problem does: He quit running and morphed into a triathlete. He swims, bikes, and runs to this day, and in his two years at Ward, he's found a love for accompanying Cyclones as they challenge themselves and achieve in ways they never thought possible!
