Due to inclement weather, Bishop Ward High School is closed today, Wednesday, Jan 25, 2023. Classes will resume Thursday, Jan 26, 2023.

As you may be aware there is a social media post that has been circulating since last night. The KCK police are aware and have vetted the post. It appears to be a post from two months ago that has resurfaced. The police do not believe this is a credible threat to our school. We are being vigilant and have an extra police presence on campus today. The safety of our students, faculty and staff is first and foremost. Thank you, Dr. Michelle Olson Principal

Last week a group of our students helped Giving the Basics package over 5,100 items for families in need. Great work Cyclones!

Congratulations to our 2022 Raffle winner Ryan Muehlfelder! Thank you to everyone who participated and for your constant support of Bishop Ward High School.

This Thursday, November 17, at 1 PM in the auditorium ,student volunteers from Bishop Ward's newly-formed Black Student Union will lead a presentation educating the student body on the history of racism and the civil rights movement. We are glad for this student initiative and the positive message it will bring to our whole student body. Parents are welcome to attend, though seating may be limited.

Athletic Department is hosting a Winter Sports Parent Meeting Thursday November 17th, 6pm in the auditorium.
