Bishop Ward’s annual auction is our largest fundraising event that supports the Student Scholarship Fund. The Student Scholarship Fund is used to help students afford tuition, textbooks, chromebooks and the essentials to attend Bishop Ward. Friends we are one month away from this year’s auction: HomeWard Bound – the Sweet Sixties. We are so excited and can’t wait to reach our fundraising goals with you! As you know this year’s event will look a little different as we will be coming to you virtually. Here is what this year’s Auction will look like: • Monday, October 12 - All items will be viewable on our online bidding website: bwhs.us/webauction. You can register at this time so you are ready to go when online bidding opens. You have to register in order to bid! • 12:00 pm on Wednesday, October 14 - Online Bidding Opens. •7:00 pm on Saturday, October 17 - LIVE Stream of the event. Join us, virtually, as our MC and Voice of the Cyclones, Brian McKiernan celebrates the event. We will focus on this year’s Fund-A-Need, highlight a few big ticket items and give you a closer look at how your support helps! We will also draw our Raffle Ticket Winner. This year’s Fund-A-Need focuses on transforming our math department into an Active Learning Center. We’ll replace the standard desks (in columns and rows) with movable furnishings, in which students can stand or sit. Imagine flexible furniture set up in small groups for collaboration and problem solving… that flips into individualized seating for testing. Varsity football will kick off the season traveling to Wright City High School Friday 9/4/2020 @ 7 pm. Fans will be limited two spectators per student-athlete on the travel roster.
