Bishop Ward students who plan on participating in athletics during the 2022-23 school are required to have a sport physical. Here is an opportunity for a free physical at the KC Community Health Fair June 25. Please note - if you attend this clinic you MUST USE A KSHSAA physical packet - NOT A MSHSAA physical packet. MSHSAA physical packets cannot be accepted for Kansas athletes. KSHSAA physical packets are available on the Athletics page at www.wardhigh.org, or in the Athletics Office or front office at school.
Bishop Ward Youth Girls' basketball camp scheduled for this week has been canceled due to COVID concerns. Those who paid in advance will be refunded by check from our business office. We are sorry for the inconvenience and if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to call the school.
Mr. John Riley, IT Director for Bishop Ward High School and a longtime member of our faculty, would appreciate the prayers of the entire Bishop Ward community as he is battling cancer. Please join us in praying for his health and well-being and that of his family.
Due to a scheduling conflict, the dates of the 2022 Youth Volleyball Camp have been changed. Camp will now be on Wed-Fri., June 8-10 (NOT Tues-Thurs., June 7-9). The camp times and location will remain the same. Please enter through the main entrance of the school Doors will be open 10 minutes prior to the start of each camp for check-in. Students must wear workout attire, tennis shoes, and bring their own water bottle. Registration is still available! $50 per athlete and this includes a camp t-shirt and snacks on the last day as well as breakfast for the 8a.m. camp and lunch for the 10a.m. camp each day. From June 1st through June 30th, Bishop Ward High School will be offering Breakfast from 8:30-10:00 and Lunch from 11:00-12 Noon, Monday through Thursday.. Students may come by and pick up meals or eat them here in the cafeteria. We have notified our feeder schools that we are offering this service to the community. Any student up to age 18 may eat here or pick up a meal. Parents may pick up meals for their children as well.
