🌹 Today we celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe at Bishop Ward! 🌹
Our community honored this special day with Mass and a beautiful procession of Matachines dancers—including one of our very own students—who play an important role in Mexican Catholic tradition and devotion to Mary.
Alumnus Fr. Mike Hawken joined Bishop Ward Chaplain Fr. Timothy to co-celebrate Mass, followed by a stunning altar adorned with traditional roses.
When students returned to school, they enjoyed champurrado (Mexican hot chocolate) and pan dulce as a way to honor Our Lady and celebrate Mexican culture.

Congrats to Mario Caro and Iram Gutierrez-Medina who competed with Mario finishing in rank #2!
💯 Keep watch for more ESports updates this winter as KSHAA play begins with other area schools. Bishop Ward is one of the top competitive ESports teams in the area!
