Senior Everett Brown II, Class of 2025, has received an acceptance, plus a scholarship, to the prestigious Morehouse College located in Atlanta, Georgia. Morehouse College is an elite HBCU (Historically Black Colleges or Universities) with a storied history since its founding in 1867. The acceptance rate at Morehouse is very competitive, especially when paired with a scholarship.
Notable alumni from Morehouse College include civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr., famous director and philanthropist Spike Lee, and human rights activist Martin Luther King III. Morehouse College has also produced congressmen, business leaders and top activists around the world.
