Bishop Ward High School

There's No Place Like Ward

Thanks to the support of Bishop Ward alumni, parents, teachers, students and friends, this year’s Auction, There’s No Place Like Ward, was a great success.  Over 300 guests came together to support Bishop Ward Students. Raising an overall total of $164,463, with $86,975 generated towards the 2015 Fund-A-Need, Power Surge! This surpassed the initial goal of $70,000 for Fund-A-Need!

The success of the 37th annual auction could not have been possible without the hard work of the auction committee and the leadership of co-chairs, Judy Martincich ’68 Riedel and Anne Mahoney ’68.

Nate Bukaty ’94, Master of Ceremonies, brought his enthusiasm as he helped rally the crowd during the live auction. Guests were able to enjoy delicious food from local vendors and the musical talents of Phil Sanders ’84 and Louis Oropeza as they bid on exciting silent auction items.

All funds raised help continue the Legacy and Tradition of Bishop Ward High School ensuring that a quality, Catholic, college-preparatory education in a Christ-centered community that nurtures the body, mind, and soul is available to every student who desires it.
